Loft Conversion
The brief from the client was to do loft conversion. The first step was to assess the existing structure of the roof. The existing structure did not allow for the possibility of reasonable space with acceptable height. The conclusion was to use the style of Dutch Barn design trusses and change the profile of the roof, which allowed us to create three new double bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms just in the loft. The client is over the moon with the result as this has allowed for a more practical and useful layout than the ground floor.
